some of u may have heard on the radio that if u sign up to tiscali 14.99 a month u now get double the speed internet u used to get, so i just phoned up to see if existing customers internet connection was automatically updated an she said "there not updated automatically but if requested by existing customers it can b done"

so basically all existin tiscali anytime £14.99 customers phone 0800 107 9000 an press 1

So that means my 2mb unlimited broadband may actually run somewhere near 2mb if upgraded to double speed?! I cant wait to swap tbh - they are utter shoot

what about the modems? dont they need to be upgraded to run 2mb?

No most modems will run up to 8 mbps after that you'd need an ADSL2 box really.

well, my dad has a different modem to me, he has 2mb and i have 1mb

nope they just asked for my details an simply upgraded it over the phone an i have recieved an email sayin the speed wil change within the next 96 hrs

service provided was good lovely scottish women lol

gayness, i used to have 2mb here, but now i can only get 1mb max
