Got mine 25/05/03 - so this being over 3 years ago do I now have a clean licence or is it 5 years?

i think you can get them removed from your licence but you have to tell the insurance for 5

5 years for insurance purposes I think its 4 years for licence tho!!

4 years, but only count for a "tot up" ban for three.

After 4 you can apply & have them removed from your licence

The points are valid for 3 years, then physically come off your license after 4

I have to tell my insurance - had them 3.5 years at last renewal - although their affect must be minimal

Can get them taken off my license in February 2007; but they're no longer effective points
