Whats spec on this car, and the newer one?

Just wondered heard alot bout them in past week or so, but dnt know much about them.

I'd guess it'd be expensive to service/run being a highly tuned performance Jap car?!

Thanks

not really highly tuned there just quick form standard.
old stlye dc2 runs b18 vtec engine good for 180bhp. FWD but awesome chassis, one fo the best fwd cars handling wise around. 0-60 low to mid 6s
the newer dc5 runs a k20 lump similar to that of the jdm ep3 type-r, 220bhp. 0-60 mid 60s.

older dc2 is alot more raw and is the preferd car for track use etc but evryday use the dc5 is superb.

DC2- Older one
187 bhp
145mph
0.60- low 6's

DC5- newer shape (import only)
220ish bhp( I think)
140ish mph
0-60 Low 7's

I had a DC2, it was awesome, really quick, handled amazingly and made a lush noise

Could get up to 35mpg if driven like a granny, much much less if using the vtec lots.

DC2 is more raw and less refined than the DC5, but performs better. Still its probablym not everyones cup of tea as its noisy, and doesnt have much in the way of creature comforts.

Servicing isnt too bad. Not up to the cost of Evo's, scoobys etc.

Old ones are more "raw" hardly any sound proofing etc. They're both extremely reliable though.

Yes, the DC5 is the new one

I looked at these before I got the LCR but the cheapest ones I found were starting at £14k.
