My mate has just rang me up and said there is one down the road for sale for £700 , with FSH and 80000 miles.
Thats all I know so far but what are these cars like ? Really only for a run about as I dont want rid of the corsa but I suppose if I liked it enough it could be a keeper ?

great cars, and as discussed, the 1.4 is quicker than the 1.6, so its the better option
test drive it and see if you like it

I think you mean the XSi mate???
If so then its a good deal, handles just as good as the rallye/gti not as quick mind you but that can be sorted in time with the 16v conversion

Its an XSI, that sounds like a great deal and def not worth a miss. By the way, the 1.6 is still quicker but the 1.4 isnt far off at all.

Sorry yeh an xsi.
A 14 year old car though with not many creature comforts I wouldnt think.
What they like for reliability ?

my brother used to have a xsi 1.6 one though, they are ace, handle like go karts and are pretty nippy, I'd have had it, just couldn't get insured at the time, got a pic but bonnet isn't shut properly on it,

Old pic by the way, so take no notice of the pirce etc! found another pic, had original wheels on and everything,

i'd get it if it's not fucked or anything. only problem is it will make you realise how wank the corsa handling is.

Went and drove it there, VERY impressed at the speed of the little thing.
Had a remote start alarm and centre exit exhaust
Its not amazing condition , but with a years MOT its definetly something to think about

A guy I worked with had one, pretty good little motors. He changed the manifold and put a stainless exhaust on, made it pretty nippy.
