I say its a good idea mate...Saves u doin the engine conversion and then u get a few extra goodies with the sport..I say do it

Yeah they make them , and they all seem to be a bout 2k, seems expensive.
What about a 1.4 16v ?

Well they seem to go for about a grand , but whats the difference in power between the two ?

1.4 is 88bhp/90lbft
1.6 is 106bhp/98lbft
1.4 is still tuneable, but you have a C16XE laying about dont you?

imo go for a 1.4..theres only a few horses inbetween the 1.4 and 1.6 but 1.4 is lower tax bracket...

Yes I have the engine but if I'm getting rid of the car for something quicker then I'd be aswell to get rid of the engine
What bhp can the 1.4 be taken to ?

get the 1.6 m8. n keep the engine incase u ever need it.. infact, buy a 1.6 then build it a monster engine using the spare engine then when the time comes swap them over, u know it makes sense

id say get the 1.6, if my car was origanly a 1.6 it may well nnot have been converted to a 2.0
I had a 1.4 16v which wast tunned to 110 BHP but you had to drive it to hard to make use of it
