Went and had a look at mates mr2 turbo this morning.

took me for a drive in it, fuck me it flies, holds ya well in ya seat, fully loving that 1

looks so cool 2, grey with black alloys and black intake.

only probs i found was n/s rear wheel bearing is whining, and exhaust is blowing, said he would sort them.

its absolutly mint tho, no rot or scratches. so long as i can get it insured under dads name like my other car, ill b having it

i thought that was quick, but he took me out in his skyline gtr....WOW ive never been so quick, he was like yea we r doing 145 now i was like what !!!

jammy git is only 18, has them 2 cars, an erst, and some other shit heaps as runabouts! now spending 4k on engine work on the skyline cant wait

yea, he just has a basic bleed valve on it, gonna fit a digital one on it, so i can put boost back low if needed.

its an amazing car for the money in my eyes, not many other smart looking, very quick cars for like 2.5k

I dont mean the speed in genaral, Its RWD & all the weight is in the rear/middle. Its very simple to get it facing oncoming traffic on a wet/greasy roundabout. Take it easy mate cos I had one (without turbo) and managed to prang it in the wet & wasnt even driving fast.

They handle very well in the dry Just need to remember to switch to poof mode as soon as it starts to rain!!

Also - if you have a choice go for a tin top over a T-bar!! Why - because they are fucking anoying & drip water through the window in rain!! I had mine off about 4 or 5 times in 2 yrs....If I had another it would be tin top

hes a very good mate of the bloke i work with, he said the wheel bearing was ok about a month ago when he took it out, and the guy said 2day that its only been whigning since the last couple of weeks, its not 2 bad tbh, just starting to whigne id say.

the exhuast is also booked in for next week, as that started playin up about a week ago. judging by how much hes now spent on the erst im thinking he does look after them well, he cleans all of his cars, wash and polish every sunday, and it shows, there all like new

Try aquote of cheaper than an XE'd corsa on an MR2 Tubby and a quote of £349 on a S1 RS Turbo

Wouldnt dare doing the MR2 Turbo on your dads name as its fraud and insurance co's do realise this

Used to have one...

Great cars...but cost a packet when they go wrong..which as long as you look after it isnt much...

IMHO also I would get them problems looked into before buying as there is plenty of them out there to pick and choose from...
