Also I agree there are the good for nothing scroungers of the state, but this applies as much to the Brits as it does to indians/pakistanis/eastern european.
Perhaps british people find it more aggravating when its a "foreigner" living off the state, as they feel they shouldnt be here in the first place?
Just a suggestion

on another note, why is the word "paki" seen as offensive?! If someone called me a "Brit" would this not be the same?

One thing that annoys me is that i have sold 60 items on ebay over the last month or so.
No problems with any until i had sajid buy my corsa interior silver handles for £1.20 and £2.80 postage = £4.00 I sent it all recorded so i had signature etc. When seding i had doubts in my mind and thought should i put my return address on here... duno y.
Afew days later after it was sent and received i send him a feedback message reminder and i get a nice reply. I wouldn't say aggresive, but he should learn how to negotiate and communicate. "Ere i aint received these handles, what are you playing at. If you don't send them tomorrow i will be wanting a full refund".
So i owned the bastard by saying that they have been sent and i have proof of delivery with a signature... ever since i have had no reply. Trying to con me out of £4
It just annoys me how some of them like to extrude every bastard penny out of us by any means...

Because people have used it when "abusing" or being "aggresive" towards people with brown skin??
I'm sure the word "Brit" would be a racial slur if gangs of pakistanis/muslims used it to taunt/abuse anyone british?
Just that no one has, so it seems ridiculous to imagine it as a racial slur!
I guess??

well obviously yout talking about people going on holiday to tourist places, everything will be in english as its designed to attract english people on holiday amongst other people.
living abroad to work is different.

It's the same as calling a black person a 'nigger' hence why it is classed as a derogatory and racist slang word.
The mind boggles.

Yes, exactly the same. There is no difference, bar letters of the alphabet.

Black people call each other "nigga"...it is ok Anyone else does it = Racist
Pakistanis don't generally use "paki" to refer to each other. If anyone else does = Racist
Indians don't call each "paki" (because we are not - we are indian!). Infact we hate pakis! We are unfortunetly branded "pakis" by the uneducated/in a mistake of fact
Brits don't call each other "brits" because that would be stupid. If they call anyone paki/nigga = Racist
haha simple
It is actually quite shocking the rivalry between sikhs (indians) and pakis (muslims) and normally revolves around muslims trying to convert sikh girls.
A couple of sikh guys I know who are bodybuilders have a favourite pass time of finding groups of muslims and kicking the living shit out of them
Oh and Sam, they are in Slough....I am sure you will agree there are endless groups of muslims to attack there! I've had a few run ins with pakis from slough....waste of space they are

my point was that the word is a shortened version of an explanative(sp) used to say where a person originates. How that can be offense i do not know. In a few years time when Bradford finally hands over and they all live in Bradistan, will they kick off if irefered to as a brad?

Most likely, yes, but pretty soon you'll see them lining up next to Lampard, Joe Cole etc...

I don't have a problem with Indians, dated one for a long time, really lovely people who'll generally bend over backwards to help you out.
Pakistanis I find are very much out for themselves.
Theres a man called ahmed who owns the shop a few doors down, always buying snacks etc from him, Im led to beleive he is from Sri Lanka and he is by far the soundest man I have ever met.
