Why not just buy a car that someone else has wasted a load of money on and save a few grand

Wheres the fun in that? are you the kind of person who'd buy a ready built kit car over a self build one Brett?

I said 'how you'd love it to be'.. obviously I wouldn't get all of the above as that would cost silly money. But you get the rough jist. I'd be happy with stage 3 engine, stripped interior, tidy exterior..

Definately. Who cares if someone else did it? A group of people on an internet forum?
Nobody where I live would know and i'd save a hell of a lot buying a car that has had a load of cash thrown at it rather than doing it myself.
I can see where you're comin from saying about doing it yourself, but personally I don't find having my car in the bodyshop/garage for weeks on end "fun"

bad boy'd and extended bonnet
semi smooth boot
Speedline Allesios! (or maybe highly polished Porsche wheels)
House of colour Kandy Purple paint
Interior:

Genesis amps and speakers
Engine, suspension and brakes:
Phase 2 C20 LET
Eibach Coilovers
4 pot brakes on the front
Vectra V6 rear disc beam conversion
be things I've missed but cant be arsed sitting here thinking of every little detail
