I like heavily modified cars that are still practical and work well.
Hazzle's corsa for e.g. had a crazy paint job and lambo doors but was only a 1.2
Otherwise.. Porsche engine in a vw camper, audi tt dash in a vw golf, engine conversions... all good

Theres a lot of us on here that started off with a corsa as one of our first cars, could afford to buy/run/insure anythin better.

Spent a fortune on mine, big wheels, straight thru exhaust etc etc but it did its job, no way would I go back to fibreglass tat, filler an fancy paint.

I'm not in to aftermarket kits at all. Standard kit on sporty models etc usually looks good as its in keeping with the car. I prefer the subtle look on modified cars.

I guess i have done things the other way round, when i was younger i was never bothered, but as i have grown older (now into my 30's) i am getting more and more into modifying cars, i do find some of them out there way OTT but the enjoyment for me comes from starting with a rust bucket and ending with something that has kept me busy for weeks on end, its a hobby, engine mods and internal improvements are definately my thing though, its a learning curve, my next one will be better than my first one lol.

I appreciate professionally modified i.e. ££££'s spent and very original! as i've got older, i really feel that less is more, heavily modified cars are high maintainance. I cringe when i see really ott cars used as daily drivers with cracks in bodywork, and kits that have exposed screws and general shoot exposed on them Less really is more, smooth subtle styling works imo

its all down to hows the kit is done.

Like mine, it would be classed as Heavily modifed but i think it looks ace.

i used to love big bodykits, wheels etc etc, but i hate them now, cant look at a OTT modified car and say thats nice, i just think "WHY"????

You do grow out of it. i think its people between the ages of 17-20 who love the bodykits etc.

I like heavily modified cars that have had time and money spent on them, not just a big kit and standard inside,

What I dont like is cars trying to look heavily modifed when they arent. and when idiots buy a heavily modified car and just run it into the ground,

If everyone was the same the world would be boring.
