The bloke that sits next to me at work has them for lunch. I think he goes to the bakery & gets a pie & a roll & then somehow combines the 2

Sounds like Scotish food to me. Scotish people eat wierd stuff, I went to Arbroath and there is a burger shop there which sold deep fried pizzas with kebab meat on top. Who would eat that? John Prescot lives in London...
