There are a few sides to this appoitment:

He is a fan favourite
He is the cheapest option
He has just finished playing so is still 'in touch' with the modern game and players
BUT
He has NO experience
He has NO experience, and
He has NO experience!

If we finish in a awful postition Shitshanks will say "Well it's who the fans wanted..." and if we do well he'll say "I knew I made the right decision"

It will either work really well, or be a complete disaster, from what I've read on Tractor-Boys.com from people that went to the EGM he was VERY impressive with what he said, apparantly it was Magilton who went to Klug to ask him if he would be intrested in a partnership, and for the interview with Sheepshanks he went with a list of things that went wrong last season and what HE would have done to change things around, the fact he has registered as a player to coach the reserves as well is a good indication of commitment, lets hope this commitment and passion rubs off on the rest of them.
