TBH I would just use the normal M6. I refuse to pay to use a road after Ive payed Road tax

Depends on the time of day, can be loads better. I've used it a few times and its always completely clear, no something you can say for the regular 6.

Nothing fixed I don't think, but there have been Police on the bridge by the services twice when I've been down it.

It's quicker... The distance is shorter because you don't loop through Brimingham. There is always shit loads of traffic when you get the Brum during the day too. Worth the extra couple of quide.

perfect new stretch of road, always clear, no cameras, no police when i've been along it, cuts loads off journey times, i got from liverpool to bristol in just over 2 and half hours using the m6 toll

The M6 toll is so much quicker, and not a lot of people use it either really, here's a pic I took on a sunday morning when I went to a CS meet in Bolton back in February:

its an awesome road,just like all motorways should be IMO.

Its well worth the extra few quid to avoid the junctions/traffic/extra distance etc


And no, you havent paid anything towards it.

I always use the toll road when im that way, theres no cameras basically as its a toll road, much the same as in France.

You pay you get away with more.

However i have seen undercover police cars catching the silly fools doing over 100.

Even at 5pm on a friday night people will prefer to save £3 and sit in hours of traffic, not me!

we used the oll road, its alot quicker, no car sand you dont evan realise the speed your actually doing unless you look at the clock

ive only used it 3 or 4 times but its been in rush hour so its worth £3.50

its like a race track....m6tollring
