Car failed its MOT today  not too much though!
Just a few questions:
"Nearside and Offside headlamp insecure"
The lights wobble up and down, the bloke said it probley just needs clips?
"Offside brake cable has wires broken and is significantly weakened"
Is this hard to fix?
Also needs welding on the chassis suspension component mouting

There is a clip in the front of the car that the headlamp should clip into at the bottom, the legs break on these quite easily, just get a couple of new ones from vauxhall. The handbrake cables are relatively straight forward to do if your fairly confident with some spanners.

Ok then thanks, shouldn't be too much of a problem then... Are handbrake cables expencive? The MOT bloke said i might as well do both sides because if one goes the other will go soon?

They are about £30 for both sides from Vauxhall, the vaux ones are alot better quality than ones you'll get from a motor factor so your better going there. I'd replace both sides if it was me.
