since i have just bought a bottom end i was wondering how much would need to be board out of the cylinders to make it a 1.7 i think it is 0.5mm.

what other things can be done to the bottom end?

got a head already which has been ported and polished and am getting throttle bodies, 288 cams

will get pics up once i get more stuff

.5mm would make it about 1625cc

mine are 0.5mm oversize, i worked out the new cc to be 1617cc, as opposed to 1598 as standard. you'll need to go about 2mm to get to 1700

capacity depends on the pistons used too...
