are saxo VTR's VTS's, 106GTi's, Corsa GSi's etc classed as "high performance" cars? or is that just the modified beyond factory specifications such as throttle bodies, recognised as "high performance"

no. im on my dads policy. restricted to cars upto 1600 cc. but no high performance cars

don't think they will be classed as 'high' performance, more like 'hot' 'warm' hatch.

There probably classed as 'Hot Hatch' because lots of young people buy them....then crash them, even though there not all that fast!!!
