Am about to graduate - aiming for a 2:1, hoping to be Automotive Designer/Concept Modeller, salary between 35k and 40k, growing to 60k if I'm lucky.
Nothing certain yet, that's if it all goes to plan.

Yea but Ash, University is pointless and only people who haven't gone to university earn that sort of money

cool. My Dad used to own Thomsons Wealth Management (bought by AWD and renamed AWD Wealth Management) as was the largest IFA in the country. My sister used to work for him doing the same thing as you.

We are, so many people say that University is pointless and all people want in a job is somone with experience. I can tell you now that I cannot get the job I want without my degree, but people on here still argue the previous point.

degree subject/grade: BA Business Management + Accounting
First "proper" job after graduating: Argos Head Office Stock Control 17k
Salary (if you would like to disclose) now work in Premium Banking 21k been here 6mths and due to go on management course for 3 mths circa 27-35k

ED - you need experience and a degree esp to go straight into a real well paid job
if your interest is broad, with no experience a degree is worthless without experience. > say business studies
if it is specific then you can a job with no degree and experience. say physiotherapy then you are qualified pretty much in some companies terms you just start on a trainee wage for 6mths or so
this is generally speaking so you really need both

Should be graduating this July hopefully, degree in Pharmacy (don't know what class, don't care as long as I pass). Have a job offer at a NHS hospital for £20.5K, once fully registered after a year can go up to £25-30K or do locum work for £40-60K.
