Which is faster a 1.4 16v sport (standard)or a 1.4 16v SRI corsa B, with an exhaust systrem etc?Which is the better for performance ? Are the figures for the corsas on this site (in the search bit) accurate?

If they're both 16, they've both got the Ecotec lump in, so are even. Would be down to driver ability.

both would have 88bhp standard. the exhaust and filter wouldnt make enough difference for it to be noticeable

So is there much of, if any, a difference between the sport or the sri?The sport replaced it didn't it?

The Sport replaced the SRi.

The seats are different and the sports have a few extra things like air con, sun roof etc, and ALL sports are 16v, they also did a 1.6 engine option in the Sport, whereas the SRi was 1.4 8v/16v only.

there is no difference in performance, the sport got electric windows, mirrors and aircon as an option, and a slightly better interior

i had same interior as sport in my sri..... no leccy windows etc though... and the lad i bought it from wouldnt have had a clue what seats were in which model so i highly doubt he got the interior out of a sport and fitted it to the sri

My old 8v sri had leccy windows and mirrors. no air con though!
