I joined Shareholders United a while ago, you had to contribute to be able to buy shares. I paid in £10 then purchased £10 worth of shares, purely to see what I got, I then planned to buy quite a lot. My £10 got me the large sum of 4 whole shares in Manchester United lol. Just as I planned to buy a decent lump of them Malcom Glazier decided to buy the club!

I've been receiving letters for almost a year from a firm acting on his behalf saying he wants them. So I've been ignoring them just because they only offered me £8!

They upped their offer to the genenous sum of £12 recently, but I was holding out for my full £20 back

Just got a letter today saying I appear to have not taken up the offer, really?! and that £12 is waiting for me in a trust fund

Then the cheeky bastards said I have to pay £7.50 to retain the certifate! Pfft!

You win Malcom, keep my bloody £12

they had a compulsary purchase value of 300p, so you should of been offered £12 straight away.

Im waiting to see what happens with our Liverpool shares if a buyer comes in. We bought them for £3000 each and are now valued at something like £3500...and thats before any buyers officially start bidding.
