you need to get someone who knows what they are doing to set it up though. these people aren't listed in the yellow pages however.

Yeah i have a DisEqC Reciever and 1.8m dish.

Have loads of subscription cards, and have the means to update/unblock the scrambled signals.

loads of free films to be had and huge amounts of porn, Multivision 1-7 are pretty decent.

its pretty easy to set up a morotised dish once you have done it a couple of times, what sort of motor did you go for? does it have a arc sweep or just a flat horizontal?

with an arc sweep it should be able to pic up a lot more of the satellites that are up there but with a flat sweep you will only get a few.

once you can locate some of the satellites then you can have the fun task of searching through transponders to see whats available. dont just search with the ones that are factory set on the reciever you will hardly get any channels.

Downstairs, my brother has hooked up an old Sky Digital dish outside to some satellite that receives middle eastern channels like Nile TV, Al Jazeera, Dubai TV, etc. with a digital receiver he bought while he was out in Egypt.

It's not motorised either.

Depends what channels you want to receive though?

The codes for TPS and Multivison on Hotbird are being changed every hour apparently.

Can you PM me some details of how I could obtain such a setup?
