just started working at vaux in parts dept,its not all its cracked up to be,dont get me wrong i dont mind it at all,and its vaux so,cheap parts and that,but

i have always wanted to do bodywork,and been gettin good mates with the 3 lads in the bodyshop,who say they need a painter and say i should have words and get in the bodyshop

shall i drop my manager init and leave him for the bodyshop orr get settled and get some experience,even tho its a bit crap? only been there 2 weeks and im wondering if i should get out early before i get too trained up and relyed upon in parts or they employ another painter...

what would you do

leave for the bodyshop, no point working, doing something that you dont like

leave parts for bodyshop............. ill take ur job in parts...... then wen ur qualified in sprayin, ill get apprentice job in spraying with u lot pal lol

Make your move now if thats what you want to d cos you'll regret it if you dont!! Your only in 2 weeks, its not like your skilled in your current job to land them in it by leaving!! Have a quiet word with the boss in the paintshop 1st, make sure there is actually an opening, then have a word with your boss, tell him theres a position in the company for a trainee paint sprayer you think you will be better suited. If hes anything of a decent guy he will understand & admire you honesty!!
