Have forked out the money for some new alloys for my car then my Dad says
"I wouldn't bother it will cost you as much again for wheels on insurance"
I know it will cost more but how much?

Have been driving a year 1NCB
Corsa 1.2 16v
Not modified in any other way insurance company need to know about i.e. standard engine.

who are you with? age?

usually will go up like £30 or £50 or so, some companies won't increase the premium as its not exactly 'performance enhancing'

worth ringing your broker up & letting them know, better than smacking it up & having the claim voided because of unlisted mods

Can't really give a rough quote as they all charge different amounts.

I'm sure it will work out fine, just been paid anyway.

I have had a pretty easy ride with insurance thus far.
