I know matt h had this problem, but i would like to know people's opinions the car has no tax nor mot, but i can get insured for 7days free with norwich union so am i right in thinking, i could go get the car and have a prearranged MOT near where i live so i can drive it home, its only 25mile away

you can drive it to a pre-arranged MOT - but not home - it has to go direct to the garage

AA and RAC will also not move or tow a car without TAX

I'm getting mine shifted tomorrow by my uncle, he's borrowing a low loader from his works so we can shift it.

one thing they always seem to check each and everytime they came out to me was my tax being valid.

lad i know, his tax disc expired 3 days prior, he had the other one at home & forgot to put it in, the RAC came along, said they wont tow it as the tax is invalid.

Its mentioned somewhere in the smallprint within there T&C's
