today i have had the pleasure of driving 3 cars..... one of which was my 1st drive of a 1.5 Civic VTEC...

1.5 VTEC has fcuk all bhp.

I owned a 1.6 VTI VTEC which had 160bhp.

I prefer cars with torque lower down in the revs though.

my impreza is 244'ish lb/ft from 4000 to 6000rpm


170lb/ft at 3500rpm
and
185lb/ft at 8000rpm
