What (on average) would a regional sales manager earn in this country?

Ive been asked by one of our collleges thats come over from USA as temp, and now might be staying on perminat, but wants to know incase the company offers him a crap wage!

plus how long in the job/how much experience - the answer could vary ridiculously

I'd hazard a gues at £25 000 to £40 000
