Dont know how old you are but some people can drive them on a standard car license. I cant as they changed the rules when I passed

My sister did it in a week. Started at 8 finished at 6 every day. I'm doing it in December.

It's not exactly easy when you think of the size of the things but she said once you got the hang of things it's alright. No idea on cost - there must be some stuff on the web about it...

easy to drive, but i think that is only coz i been driving them since about 14, i now drive all the 44 tonners, but cant do it on road yet as i am not 21, but i may do young drivers scheme which allowss you to drive them before your 21 and u get funding for doing it aswel.

I have got my class 2 licence (32Tonne) but drive a 7.5 tonne wagon now and then, they are pretty easy to drive as they have normal gearbox's and not splitter ones plus they are alot smaller. but still big when jumping out of a 3.5 tonne. My work paid for mine but i am sure it cost about£800 for the 5 days training and the theory test was extra. I wouldnt say its easy though, i passed first time, but like my instructor said if you dont listen to him your not going to do very well.
Good luck
