http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new_cars/golf/gt

The 1.4 supercharged and turbocharged one that some one posted about on here a bit back. 0-60 in 7.9 seconds in a 1.4 Golf

and a more powerful 2.0 TDi that does 0-60 in 8.2 seconds.

Dont know if I like the front bumper or wheels though?

Are Audi going to put these engines in the A3?

yeah I thought the idea was that they were going to put that S/C and T/C engine in the Polo? Be a GTi beater though so they probably dont want to do that...

Do you REALLY think VW would bolt on a super/turbocharger to a standard 1.4?

Obviously not, but at the end of the day it's still a 1.4.

and its a 1400cc engine... whats your point???

a Toyota Starlet Turbo uses a small block to create a healthy, reliable figure...

It's not really though is it. It can't be compared to any other 1.4 on the roads. I'd like to see what an insurance company would say to you if you came out with a comment like that to them...

the 2.0 tdi has been around for a while now... already in the a3. the 1,4 tsi is running 32 psi of boost iirc and of course it will last.. would be better off in the polo imo, better than the 1.8t in the new gti

but the 2.0 TDi hasn't been around in that state of tune. My Dad has the 140, now they are doing a 170 version
