went last year with the mrs, one of the nicest islands of greece, really nice. water is clear and was clean too.
one thing if your going to go see the ship wreck, DO NOT go on one of the big boats, as they have stopped all of them accessing the ship wreck, they just go by it. go on a speed boat, cost abit more, but worth it as u get off onto the ship wreck.
But if ur going on a lads hoilday u wont even care about the ship wreck, there is good bars in Laganas(sp) its just like an english piss up town,

We went last year as well, when did you go Andy?
We went in October when there was the earthquake Jst a quickie Sam - The island has alot of earthquakes, minor tremors most of the time so dont worry if you get any
We stayed in Tsilvi at Hotel Contessina which was nice, we ate at Menhir alot and the mini golf is good fun. We went on alot of day trips, the tour of the island was good (probably not as good at peak season) we went to turtle island and we saw the ship wreck.
Like Andy says go on a smaller boat, they should take you right onto the beach for a few hours (like a private beach )
Laganas is lively, if u want more coupley stuff then stay away from there
Also go to popeyes, good food there and they are really nice
Got some photos somewhere....

went to tsilvi mate, stayed in the daisy hotel.
Popeyes was good, alot of food also there are loads of resturants round there to choose from.
also we played mini golf twice, was fun to play at night after a meal.
a real good holiday for a couple. like ally said stay away from laganas if you dont like partying. ALSO the prices go up alot once in laganas compared to tsilivi.

I dont mind the earthquakes as most probably I'll be drunk, or rocking somebody's world (sorry could not resist) lol, but thanks for the warning
Im off to laganas with a mate of mine, its a club 18-30 holiday and the English piss up town description sounds good especially through the world cup.

what hotel you staying in?
i went last year in sept, it was mental. and it was just coming out of season, so cant imagine how mad it will be in june. laganas beach is a bit shit, they use it as a road at night. me and my mates got quads and bikes out to go up to the mountains that was quite cool, but be careful! drive like nutters. also rented out a speed boat quite cheap and went to another island. and my piece of advice is if you see this ozzy bloke with a bird on a scooter trying to sell you tickets for this club where you can drink all you want, dont bother. herd that the drinks were unnamed stuff, and prolly make you ill. £40 a ticket aswell.
hope your going for longer than a week, cos i was depressed when i was coming home, how much spending money you taking?

went Zante "Laganas" twice last yr both in peak season. Was great place, loads to do.... rent speed boat from beach for like 50-80 euros for whole day and just drive roudn the island stop whereu wanted etc was class. or go over to another part of island and rent jet ski's. Great nightlife etc etc
