I have just bought these wheels. They are of a Vectra.
Got them for 50 quid...not bad!
will have to chnge the tyres before i put them on ether going for 195/50/15 or 195/45/15 not sure yet??
old tyres will go on my mums rover so thts a plus!







But the question is..do you think its worth doing a little refurb before i fit the new tyres on??

Depends how unhappy you are with the current condition. Tyres need to be 45.

wet or dry, metal primer, silver paint, clear lacquer

P38 filler to fill any scuffs

either the same as the car, or the brightest silver you can get, (which will be ford strato silver)

should be a 45, can get away with a 50. Also 50s are usually cheaper.

i used star silver when i did my wheels but only because i couldnt get hold of any bmw titan silver which is supposed to look nice

do you think i would be able to get the 3 pined srews that hold the caps on from vuaxhall?
just to smarten them up if i do do a refurb!

yeah or spray those ones
or use an alloy allen head cap screw

they's benefit from stick on weights on the inside and the paint will almost certainly be skanky underneath the current rim weights, so a quick spruce will probably be worthwhile.
