But Im in the process of sorting it. The feedback I got off most members was that the venue was good. Some others questioned that the location wasn't central enough

Oh, I thought you were the organiser for the National Meet... You did a good job last time. I'd be more than happy to go to the same place so long as we don't have some dappy cow leading the convoy this year.
