i personally think that the standard 3 spoke alloys on a 1.4 / 1.6 sport are slightly unappealing - they are quite small, but that does help with acceleration and they dont seem good in the wet.... what wheels can beat them on an overall scale for performance?

Ive got a 1.4 Sport, and the standard wheels are shite!

Ive got a set of 14" Irmscher Soft stars on.

Performance is fine, no air filter or uprated exhaust. But ive beat new SXi's and a VTr.

Tyres handle like shit in the wet though, not sure what they are, but can get wheels still spinning at about 45mph in 2nd

What do your wheels look like? got any pictures? Would you say some lightweight 15's would sort me out?
