18k is a legal mark for 18 karat gold. 750 means the same thing! You see, 18 karat gold is 750 parts pure gold mixed with 250 parts of other metal like copper and silver. The total is 750 parts plus 250 parts equals 1000 parts. In other words, 18k is 75% pure gold in the metal recipe.
