Anyone know roughly what they charge to fix a chip??

Through insurance, free if they can repair it, or £50/£60 excess for a new windscreen if they can't.

my screen is about £80 +vat for a corsa screen

for a scooby
id double it as a guess

I'm guessing you have TPFT insurance? Because I'm sure all FC insurance includes windscreen cover (unless you're insured with someone crap like Quinn's)

Sold the scooby last year, ive an Alfa 156 run about for now.....its cost me a fortune!!!! £160 MAF last week...now windscreens sacked!!

Does anyone know if they can repair chips on the drivers door window? Ive got an annoying scratch line of 4 chips from where a stone flicked off another car

Try RAC too - they tend to be a bit cheaper

i have 4 scrathes on mine from stones on the whiper blade i think, can they fix scrathes? (deep sratchs)

get one of them 1 day insurance policys for £10.50 and then claim on that policy they are fully comp so costs you nothing

iirc you cant take out an insurance policy on a vehicle thats already insured
