the alternator is fine where it sits m8i,no need for chopping
the rear mount(gearbox)will require a spacer to allow the gear linkage to work properly,id also recomend buying the redtop engine thats already in a car(calibra,cav,astra etc)that way you can hear the engine running ,but if you do end up buying just an engine-water pump head gasket ,good chance to fit arp head bolts etc,just general items that require replacement
