Agreed. With McLaren it'll be all too familiar and I can't see much changing. I doubt Sven actually does much as it is. Needed new everything imo, new head coach, new staff.......

Although that said, i'm going to give the guy a chance because he's on the verge of winning a major European trophy.

Rather McLaren then Curbishley, but then i'd have chosen Allardyce anyway.

Why Allardyce what has he won?

Its not what he has won, its what he has achieved. Bolton are better than Boro because of Allardyce. Anyway, I thought you'd be bothered losing your manager.

Truthfully I won't be sorry to see him go.
I think Mclaren did fit the right criteria for the job. He has done alot more than any of the other candidates.

Yes we have done well in cup games this season but we have also been poor in the league.

He is a very unpredictable manager when it comes to team selections and his tactics are very poor( as seen in first half against Steua Bucharest).

Personally i wouldn't have wanted another foreign manager, Mclaren was the best fit for the job but I still won't be sorry to see him go.
