I'm sure it was done at York, as I think my mate was there in his Mk3 Astra the day he did it all that time ago?

Depend's who you ask. I was told they changed the timing gear couple of year's back too.

4.97sec 0-60mph using Datron timing equipment.

Spare wheel & rear seat only were removed to reduce weight.
