duno if this is in the right place but oh well

got a job interview at local vauxhall garage this afternoon for a trainee position in their parts dept

wondering if theyres anything i can say to my advantage in general or vaux related that would maybe help??

any help appreciated guys

Within the 1st three minutes... they would have made their mind about you. (i study HR and got told this)

It's all about selling yourself in the best postive manner you can.

Make sure you know quite a bit about Vauxhall itself

Ask questions as the end of the interview about the job/garage etc.

Be smart, although be bold and bright although not big headed...

Sit openly with good body language, don't cross legs and arms

tel them that you can keep people on hold while you search, that you can order the wrong parts, that you take the piss out of woman customers and that you genearlly could not GAF about the public

Also eye contact!

Dont do too much or they may think your coming onto them!

If you dont give them eye contact and just stare about the place, they may think you lack in confidence.

memorise the complete listings of the Irmscher catalogue and shout out the part numbers at random times

Product knowledge is always good - although possibly too late for you now.
The very least i would be looking for if I was interviewing you would be for you to tell me vauxhalls current line up.
