New engine from Vauxhall is about £1.5k, then a turbo kit from M Vaux will set you back about £700 I think. Fitting kit is about £500. Then there is the rest of stuff which is about £500.

to get the new engine from Vauxhall you need to give them a C20LET in exchange dont you? So thats another 1k to buy an engine to exchange

Yes you would be amazed where after a while you car will need welding

Though just looking at a normal Corsa you wouldn't think "oh, its gonna go there".

I can't explain very technically....

Take the wheel off, look towards the engine, the shaft comes from one place, and there is metal around where it comes out, cracks have started there. And on the front of the car where the tie bar goes. Few other places too..

When (finally) the engine comes out, it shall be attatcked with avengance with the welder. Hopefully making the shell more rigid will make it grip more.

So if i wanted it running superb, i.e. brand new LET from Vaux etc, how much am i talkin all in?

Factory fast is boring, and would have to be a beast to be quicker than LET corsa imo

that 1.5k from vaux for new engine, does that include turbo, alternator, waterpump, cambelt, starter motor etc etc etc???

Before you ask, ive not a clue how much ive spent on mine
