i work weekends
i've got 5 weekends in the year i can take off as holiday
i've already taken 3 weekends off
dont really want to use up another one
haven't called in sick for a while
should i call in sick instead of using holiday?
say i have dierirea or something
if i ask for holiday, realize someone has already got that weekend, it'll look dodgy me calling in sick the same weekend
thoughts?

Call in sick, but something that doesn't stop you going out house....incase you are seen....
Dodgy if you ask for holiday and gets refused then call in sick as they know you are at it...

Yeah just tell them now our not going to be very well that weekend and can they book it down as sick

Yeah i'd phone in sick.. phone in sick when you are already down their so they dont see you going out of your house around your town etc 
And tell them that you are going to be sleepy, so you wont be picking up the house phone
24 hour bug
comment you dont feel to good the day before

Yeah...but if they see you out and about, then 30 mins later you ring up saying you're ill isn't it a bit obvious?

Rus, call up sick and explain that you were away visiting a family member and after a meal out the night before have been taken ill with "excessive bowel movements" and "vomitting" and unfortunately your in no fit state to travel back or even get out of the house. When you get back to work chances are they won't question you about it as they dont like to know the details of diarrhea so you'll be smooooth sailing even if they ask just explain to them in detail how you were red raw for 2 days after and couldn't sit down

ive told them im at a wedding  and not to be expecgting me
so they either give me the day off or i take it anyway their choice
