Is the gearbox on these shit or just shit?

It takes quite a lot of effort to get it to go into any gear, earlier reverse had to be pushed really hard to go in and third always misses and tries to go into first

Is the linkage likely to be worn or is this just normal

same as any other fwd vauxbox. sounds like yours is fucked tho, as they are normally pretty good.

linkage prob needs adjusting

mine used to do this, a bit of wiggling and tightning and back in business
