I can live with ugly. Dodge Ram is ugly. It also carries 1.5 tonnes and tows 4, while carrying six people.

Cayanne 4x4 can't even get over a little silly hill.

I think the Ram looks fantastic Ian.

Good looking vehicle with great proportions and exceptionally purposeful looking too.

That Porsche Paprika or whatever it's called is completely clown shoes.

Looks like a very large child has repeatedly smashed a 911 down on top of a Ssangyong until it stuck.

Its not meant to be an off roader though. Sure it looks like one. But its a status symbol. Look I have money etc..... Rather have an RR Sport though.

we have had 2 cayenes in in the last month and one was covered in mud where the guy had used it offroading and it did ok but he did have sum big 33" mud terains on with chrome wheels and it looked cool!

other one has some 22" kahn wheels and was owned by a 21yr old! wonder how much stuff he had to sell to get it though as he also has a smashed up E60 which we have in at the moment!

Agreeish there are far better cars for the money no doubt about that but cayennes are bloody fast for their size, so you would expect them to be safe and very comfortable on long journeys ect so do have there plus points.

if you want safe and comfortable buy a volvo
if you want a super car buy a ferarri or a porsche 911
if you want an off roader buy a ranger rover/land rover

if you want something that tries to be all 3 but fails miserably buy a Porsche Cayanne
