mate is gettin rid of his and im thinkin of buyin for cheap run about

only problem is wen ya floor it it dont seem to move any where, accelerates fine when ya take it gentle and has no problem reachin top speeds, but has no sudden acceleration at all, just revs really loud and dont move

any ideas....its a d reg with 75k on clock...in mint condition part from thuis fault

well if it revs fine but does not go any where obviously it is not in mind condition

car may appear to look mint but if it has a problem where the vehicle idle and revs but does not move as it is supposed to then ask yourself How many other problems have i overlooked

Chances are clutch is slipping and car has been abused not neccesarily by your mate
