almost got the tailgate finished this weekend, removed all the black vinyl and glue, which wasnt easy. Gave it a good sand. welded a small plate in where i cut the rust out. filled and then primed / sanded for ages, then gave a nice coat of grey primer and rebuilt the handle lock etc. Handle also got painted.

finished, didnt take any real progress pics but this is it now. well it now has a couple of coats of satin black on it, as i decided to paint instaed of puting another vinyl sticker on.

Also completed the boot floor and put in my new GM spare wheel, got it free, quite like it.

Lots still to do but getting there.

Gonna take time though, can only do it when i get time andhave spare cash, becasue between a full time job and uni and a rally car to maintain there isnt much of eith time or cash!
I'll get there and yes - it'll be sweet!
