are the injectors definetly firing into the bores. if it is then it could be no compression or the ht leads are on the wrong way or the timings out 180 degrees

thanks lee,
well what im gonna try later today is remove the dist cap and the HT leads off the turbo and pop it on my XE and see what the results a
seems a sensible way of testing parts from the turbo engine ?
how about a dodgy earth ??

well been out this morning and the story gets worse theres no water in the engine and i tried topping it up and it ran out from behind the timing belt cover,
now the guess is that the engine stopped due to the water pump bearing buggering up and possibly the timing belt jumping aswell ??
now at the point of letting this one go to someone who has the time to work on it.
