You have to think about what you're doing to the car. By changing your head unit and suddenly your cambelt go's, the two are'nt connected! I would say by changing your head unit the warranty is'nt affected.

but if you change the headunit and then suddenly the electrics start to play up it could affect it - best bet is to ask the company who will honor the warrenty, and get something in writing, or check the documentation to see if its in there

Some warrenty companies would say yes, any change will affect it. Some don't care so much. Depends how bothered they are, which you usually only find out when there's a problem.

just change it and if anything happens put original one back in n say summin is wrong lol
