can you get a mantzel or any other performance inlet manifold for a 1.6 8 valve? any information would be a great help thanks

The E16SE engine from the Nova GTE/GSis had a good straight through design with a good bore size. Unlike the extra tubing put in the X16XE by Vauxhall, which is what Mantzel etc made their manifolds for.

so theres no point trying to get 1 then?its a c16se its multi point injection.

you can get diblas from courtney if i remember right! The 1.6 8v manifold is good for 150/160 bhp, then throttle bodies are the best option!

so u mean i can run upto 150-160 bhp without changing the manifold?its already got a 100 bhp but i wanna get it up 2 bout 150 bhp.

I had my nova gte which had one of my heads on with Gp'A' valves, modified downpipe, magnex system, nvo62 and vernier, modified air flow meter, kv 85 leads and a few other bits and it made 118bhp at the wheels on the rollers which is about 135/140bhp flywheel.
