It wont! People at work have been running diesel leons for ages, they dont get that! My ibiza does about 55mpg as an average, and lots of that is dual cariageway.

yes but how do these people drive the cars. you can get my car into the low 30s with spirited driving.

Well on a 25 mile motorway journey my 1.8 T got 40.1 mpg. I'm sure with the right driving a diesel could get above 60-65

Errrrrm, between the employees(about 15or so that have used the cars) and the vast number of customers ive spoken to, none have mentioned anything over 65mpg!

My best mates Dad was getting 59mpg in his Leon FR 150 on the motorway the other day, his engine has only done 1950 miles aswell so it's not even ran in.....

ibiza 130 should get close to 60mpg, leon I'd expect mid to high 50s. anything much lower and your driving in a non-econimical maner
