Just been watching news and thinking to myself why the hell is petrol so pricey here, if oil has gone up, the dollar has gone down so surely this should counter it a little.
also the government say oil has gone up blah blah but why is every other country in eu 60 to 70p litre?they have to buy it at same rate as us
prob wrong lol but anyway... i feel better

they wont deny that there is a large levy on fuel, but fuel prices are mostly dictated by the price of a barrel of oil. and thanks to the US of A sticking there nose in the 4th largest producer of oil (Iran), OPEC has got the shits and whacked up oil prices

Agree. I saw a breakdown of who gets what from a tanker of fuel.
Nearly half is tax. We spend this on fighting needless wars in Iraq and housing jobless dossers.
