I should be getting some new speedline from wheelbase tomorrow and want to know how to protect them from my brake pad dust. At the mo, ive got some 14" sri allows, which the brake dust has eten the painwork at the back of the wheel and gone down to the bare metal.
What stuff do i need to paint on them to protect them from this? or is it not a problem?
Cheers
Dan

I have heard about just using something like dashboard protector, just like a shiner that is clear, in an aerosol can.
Hope that makes sense

The best thing to do is polish them when you get them. This creates a film that the dust can't stick to easy

Yep. Clean them up and give them a nice thick coat of polish. Then elbow grease to a nice shine.
Don't do around the bead of them, as this creates a poop seal with the tyre.

just make sure you clean them regurlarly, so the dust doesnt settle, making it harder to remove!!

Also re-polish when you can. Keep them spanky clean.
