well thats the thing u never know how good a company is until you have dealings with them! they're happy to take your money but when they have to give you theirs or have more risk of giving you theirs then its a totally different story!

my brother is insured with elephant and im taking out a policy with them when my astra vxr arrives as so far they are the cheapest by far. Also when I spoke to them on the phone they seemed alright but the increase for 3 points is a bit mad.

You should have threatened to cancel the policy while on the phone to them the first time as they wouldn't have increased your premium that much.

SP50 cost me £15 extra with Norwich Union.

Also I moved house just before christmas, 5 houses down on the same street, same postcode etc, £95 knocked off my policy when I rang up to inform of address change lol.
