Author Air releasing as I open fuel cap?

When I opened my fuel cap to fill up my car with petrol , there was a sound of air releasinging from the the fuel tank.

Just wondered what could be up as I know it did this on my old mini as something may have been clogged up??

I did nealy have the car on empty so could it be that?

something to do with the breather pipe being blocked

im gona change my breather pipes and see.

If you've run it from full to totally empty it will build up a vacuum, and it'll hiss as air rushes in.
